Rebecca grew up in a chaotic but artistic family in Tennessee, which influenced her through music, art and storytelling. She qualified as a teacher and worked at opening others to their creative abilities. Yet she was restless as a teacher and could not settle into teaching full-time.

As she began to paint she stumbled on a book entitled “colour” on her sister’s bookshelves. This began a journey that was to lead her to Switzerland exploring what Rudolf Steiner had to say about colour. There she worked with Beppa Assenza , who had developed an approach to colour based on Rudolf Steiner’s colour work. This was the foundation of her work.

From this point Rebecca has experimented with all mediums and has developed her own style.
